Welcome!

Hi! I'm Sofia and the founder of ArtimeSophiaShop. I'm an artist, dreamer and the hands behind this little magical corner of the world ✨
I run a small creative atelier based in Almada, Portugal, (with my dachshund assistant Bonnie always by my side), where I design and make everything with love and intention.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I studied Visual Arts and later graduated in Conservation and Restoration, but my true creative journey began in 2017, when my grandmother gifted me a sewing machine. With her inspiration (and a few lessons from my dad!), I taught myself how to sew and soon after, I opened my online shop on Etsy.

In 2018, I made my very first felt purse the Honey Pot bag inspired by Winnie the Pooh. It became an unexpected success and remains one of my bestsellers to this day. That little honey pot changed everything and connected me with a beautiful Disney-inspired creative community on Instagram, where I’ve made lifelong friends.

In 2022, I was invited to the Magical Market in Birmingham, UK, my very first market! Meeting many of my online small business friends in person was a dream come true.

Then, in 2024, something shifted. I felt the call to reconnect with a part of myself I had set aside for years: drawing. As a child, I was always doodling, painting, and colouring books for hours. Now, I’m back to that creative core, designing magical stationery, art, and stories that spark joy, inspire self-expression, and celebrate imagination.

My work is all about spreading uplifting messages and making people feel seen and loved. Especially those who feel a little different. I want to remind you that being yourself is your superpower, and that your dreams are always worth chasing. 💛

Whether it’s through a sticker, a notepad, or a character I’ve brought to life, I hope to bring you a little magic and a whole lot of heart.
