My Journey
Hi! I'm Sofia Gomes! My small atelier is located in Portugal, Almada.
I’m passionate about arts since I remember and so I chose the Visual Arts course and the college I’m graduated at Conservation and Restauration.
I always felt inspired by my grandmother who always sewed, made “arraiolos” and crochet. So in 2017 she gifted me with a sewing machine and then I learnt with my dad and alone.
In 2017, I decided to really fight for some of my dreams and then I opened an online shop on Etsy!
In 2018, I had the great idea to make my first purse, the Honey Pot purse inspired by “Winnie the Pooh”, which had a great deal of success! This made me super happy because, to this day, it is one of the best sellers.
By this time I started to become a part of this Disney community on Instagram and made great online friends.
In 2022 I was invited to participate in the magical market in Birmingham in the United Kingdom. It was my first market and it was where I had the opportunity to meet my online small business friends, in real life.
I've always liked dressing up, having themed parties for my family and friends and decorate my home seasonally.
I think these are days that must be different from normal days.
So I created my shop to help people who don't have time, to celebrate their special occasions with my creations.
